Once every month the church holds an evening seminar for members at large. It is open to anyone fifteen or older. Well over 150 people attend the meeting, which lasts about two and a half hours.

The general procedures are much the same as the other study sessions, with lectures followed by questions and answers. Since the main purpose is study of the scriptures, however, there is no presentation of testimonials.

Rev. Teruyuki Tada started the monthly seminar in the late 1950s, shortly after he took over the church from his mother. By the end of the decade, membership was large enough to warrant separate Sunday School classes for children. All the other study groups evolved from the monthly seminar.
