In 1983 the Reimei Art Collection was formally opened in one of the church buildings. With Mr. Yamasaki's help and advice, Rev. Teruyuki Tada had spent more than ten years collecting relatively small but outstanding works by Edo period artists, most notably Ogata Korin, Hon'ami Koetsu, Ogata Kenzan, Sotatsu, Ninsei and others of the so-called Rinpa or Korin school.

Fifty-five out of more than one hundred items in the collection appear in a catalogue published in 1987. Postcard reproductions of most items are also available. Church members study them before the seasonal exhibition of selected works. Many foreign visitors have come to see the collection, including members of the 1983 Boston Museum of Fine Arts tour.
